This is the sound of a jacket zipper going up and down at various speeds. While it is from a jacket, it does sound also like the zipper from a tent as well. This was recorded with an akg c-214 condenser microphone in my home studio.

The assorted sounds of rolling house paint onto a wall with a wood pole, lambswool shuck and plastic/metal frame, from a plastic pan. Some bumps and clanks but also a few sections of sticky latex application.

This is a slow version of the s. G. I. Buddhist mantra nam myo ho renge kyo. It was recorded by me with my voice and a bit of echo and reverb using the audacity program. The recording device used was my computer windows xp with a very low-end microphone. I downloaded a free audacity recording program.

Inside a freezer. The door is open and the ice melts produce thin cracks. The cooling circuit make sounds too. Finally i close the door (fade out). Really cold.

This is me walking down a carpeted set of wooden stairs in my home in scotland. I was only wearing socks at the time. The sound was recorded using a tascam dr-05 version 2. Slight tweaking to reduce noise was done in audacity.

I used a minidisk and two pzm's and a home made spliter box that worked only if you never touched it. It was one in the morning to try and avoid most of the traffic. Rain starts about half way in. Navy during the vietnam war, including fatherly advice about cars and shopping overseas and anxiously awaiting his sons return. He provides sample fodder at 14:19 about musical gear lust and otherwise provides an insight to the times. As no parties in this recording are explicitly identified, and while i did not record this, i am the de facto owner of the recording at this point and think it best to preserve it by posting it here as cc0. 180hz notchfilter(60x3)otherwise untouched.

This is actually the electric door bell in my home, but it's loud and has an alarm type sound to it. The sound was recorded using a tascam dr-05 version 2 with the mic placed on the floor while the bell was just below ceiling height in my hall.

Recording of myself playing a home-made instrument constructed from a large suspended metal door affixed with bits of thin aluminum sheeting of varying sizes and bent at varying angles. I "played" this by striking and plucking the bits of aluminum and recording the results through a piezo contact mic adhered to the door.

I was showing my 1 year old my recording studio. He was laughing and talking so i recorded him to play it back. His reaction was as wonderful as i could have hoped. This was recorded in my home studio, on a cad e100s microphone. Recorded in audacity, i copied the clip, lowered the pitch, stretched, added reverb, and reversed the audio. I also normalized to -3db.

As my home brew beer is fermenting, co2 is piped off through an air lock. This sound is actually the bubbles of gas being released into a container of water but it does sound like drips. Recorded at 48k on a tascam dr-40 and sennheiser mic. I've added a bit of reverb.
